Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
QuranlyHub (“QuranlyHub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides live, one-to-one online Quran education to families in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
By using this website or booking a class with us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly — when you book a free trial class, message us, or contact us, we collect the details you provide, which may include:
- Your name and, where relevant, your child’s name and approximate age or level
- Email address and WhatsApp/phone number
- Country or time zone, for scheduling purposes
- Any notes you share about learning goals, prior experience, or scheduling preferences
Information collected automatically — like most websites, when you browse quranlyhub.com we automatically collect some technical information through cookies and similar technology, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring site. This is used for site security, performance, and understanding how visitors use the site (analytics).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a free trial class
- To match you with a suitable tutor and schedule ongoing classes
- To communicate with you about your classes, scheduling changes, or account matters
- To send occasional updates or offers by email, only if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To improve our website, courses, and service quality
- To meet legal or safeguarding obligations where applicable
3. Children’s Privacy
Many of our students are children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child without the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. All bookings, communication, and payment arrangements are made through a parent or guardian, who provides any information about the child (such as name, age, or learning level) on the child’s behalf.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at info@quranlyhub.com and we will delete it.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the following categories of third parties, and only as needed to run our service:
- Tutors — the tutor assigned to teach your class receives the information needed to teach and schedule your lessons.
- Service providers — companies that help us operate the site and business, such as our website hosting provider, email newsletter provider (Mailchimp), and messaging platform (WhatsApp/Meta) for booking communication. These providers only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
Because WhatsApp is operated by Meta, messages sent through WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp’s own Privacy Policy.
5. International Data Transfers
We work with families and tutors in multiple countries, so your information may be processed in a country other than your own, including countries that may have different data protection laws than your home country. Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect your information in line with this policy wherever it is processed.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for essential site functionality, to remember your preferences, and for analytics (understanding how visitors use the site, in aggregate). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, for as long as your child is enrolled, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you or your child
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time (using the unsubscribe link in any email)
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your information
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@quranlyhub.com. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are in Australia, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
