It’s worth being honest about what this means in practice: in a city Al Ain’s size, waiting for a spot to open up with the one well-regarded local teacher can take months, and some families never get in at all no matter how long they wait. Others settle for whoever is available rather than whoever is actually qualified, reasoning that some instruction is better than none — a reasonable short-term decision that can still leave real gaps in Tajweed and pronunciation that take considerable effort to correct once a more qualified teacher eventually reviews the child’s recitation. Knowing in advance that a teacher’s Ijazah and Sanad have genuinely been checked, rather than discovering months in that they hadn’t been, changes that calculation considerably for a family that only gets one real chance at a child’s early years of learning.
