Online Alim Course in Urdu

Study Quran translation and Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh, and Sarf/Nahw with Adeel Ahmad through Quranly Hub’s online Alim course. Lessons are taught in Urdu for learners worldwide, including Pakistan.

The programme is planned over two years and four semesters, with 45-minute classes. Choose between USD 80 for eight monthly classes and USD 100 for sixteen monthly classes. Actual completion time may be longer depending on your starting knowledge, learning pace and class frequency.

Quranly Hub issues its own academy certificate. The certificate is not government-registered.

What Is an Alim Course?

An Alim course brings several Islamic subjects into a structured programme of study. At Quranly Hub, the four areas are Quran translation and Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh, and Sarf/Nahw. You study the meaning of texts, the tools used to understand them and their relevance to practical life, with explanations in Urdu.

Course titles alone do not tell you a programme’s depth, workload or qualification status. When choosing an online Alim course, compare the actual syllabus, entry level, study time, teacher and certificate. Quranly Hub’s planned two-year programme should be evaluated on its own stated content and academy certificate.

Who Is This Online Alim Course For?

This programme suits Urdu-speaking learners who want to study several Islamic subjects together. It may also suit someone returning to Islamic study who wants to discuss a structured continuation with a teacher.

Your starting point matters. A learner who already reads the Quran and has studied Arabic grammar may need a different pace from someone who has not studied these subjects before. Explain your previous learning during the trial so that you can discuss an appropriate starting level.

If your immediate goal is Quran recitation, memorization or word-by-word understanding alone, a focused course may be a better starting point. See the course comparison below before deciding.

Alim Course Curriculum: Four Study Pillars

The syllabus is organised around four areas. They support one another: language tools help you read, Quran and Hadith study develop textual understanding, and Fiqh addresses practical questions through guided study.

Quran Translation and Tafseer

Study Quran translation and Tafseer with guidance from your teacher. Translation helps express the meaning in another language; Tafseer develops the explanation of the passage being studied. The teacher prepares lessons from different Tafseer references and supplies prepared notes for students.

The learning aim is to develop your understanding of the passages covered and your ability to explain what you have studied with appropriate guidance. Ask the teacher which references and portions will be used for your level.

Hadith: Riyad as-Salihin and Principles of Study

Hadith study includes Riyad as-Salihin, selected chapters, translation, lessons for practical life and relevant Shariah issues. The course also covers Hadith types and principles used in discussing acceptance and rejection of narrations.

Understanding the wording, reference and scholarly explanation of a narration matters. Studying selected texts does not by itself establish unrestricted competence to grade narrations or issue religious rulings independently.

For background reading, Sunnah.com explains Hadith sources, numbering and grading, and the distinction between accessing a text and deriving a ruling. It is a reference resource, not an awarding body for this course.

Fiqh and Practical Islamic Learning

Fiqh study includes Al-Quduri and practical matters relating to worship, dealings, and clarification of Halal and Haram. Aqaid is also part of the academy’s stated study outline.

The purpose is to develop guided understanding of the matters you study and their relevance to daily life. The Fiqh text and the wider study outline should be distinguished: listing Aqaid in the programme does not mean every topic is contained in Al-Quduri.

Bring practical questions to your teacher, and explain the relevant circumstances. A course description or a short lesson summary should not be treated as an individual ruling for every situation.

Sarf and Nahw: Arabic Grammar for Understanding Texts

Sarf concerns word forms and morphology. Nahw concerns sentence structure and the relationships between words. Together, these tools support deeper reading of Quran, Hadith and Arabic books.

The aim is to develop your ability to work with the texts being studied rather than depend only on a translated summary. Your teacher will identify the appropriate Sarf and Nahw books for the course.

For an external illustration of these fields, the Quranic Arabic Corpus separates morphological analysis from syntactic analysis. Its grammar documentation shows how word relationships are studied. These resources illustrate the subject; they are not a claim about a prescribed Quranly Hub textbook or partnership.

How the Four Areas Relate

Study areaMain focusWhat to discuss with the teacher
Quran and TafseerMeaning and explanation of the passages coveredAssigned passages, references and prepared notes
HadithNarrations, selected chapters and principles of studyTexts selected, references and practical lessons
FiqhGuided understanding of practical religious mattersRelevant chapters and the scope of questions being studied
Sarf and NahwWord forms and sentence relationshipsAssigned grammar texts and your starting level

These are learning aims and discussion points, not guaranteed outcomes for every student in a fixed number of lessons.

Alim Course Books and Teacher-Prepared Notes

SubjectConfirmed learning materials
Quran/TafseerTeacher-prepared notes drawing on different Tafseer references
HadithRiyad as-Salihin and selected chapters
FiqhAl-Quduri
Arabic grammarSarf and Nahw books

Ask for the exact titles, editions and assigned portions when discussing your study plan. Knowing the correct edition helps you follow page references and prepare the right material. Confirm how to obtain any required books and what the academy provides before purchasing them.

The four-semester plan does not mean each subject is confined to one semester. Discuss the sequence and depth of study with the teacher; the programme overview is not a semester-by-semester reading list.

Alim Course Duration and Four-Semester Plan

The standard programme is planned for two years across four semesters. The time you actually need depends on your previous study, understanding, learning pace and the number of classes you take.

Why Completion Time Can Vary

The eight-class and sixteen-class monthly plans provide different amounts of teaching time. It would be misleading to promise that both plans always cover the same material to the same depth in exactly two years. Discuss your starting point and available study time before agreeing a pathway.

If you have studied before, explain which texts and topics you covered. If you are beginning, explain your current Quran reading and familiarity with Islamic subjects. This gives the teacher a more useful starting point than a course title alone.

Optional Additional Year

Students who want to continue into more advanced study can discuss an optional additional year. Ask about its content, schedule, fee and expected level before choosing the extension.

Can You Study Part-Time?

Discuss a manageable class plan alongside work, education or family responsibilities. The eight-class monthly package is described as two lessons weekly; the sixteen-class package provides more monthly teaching time. Available lesson times must be agreed with the academy.

Allow time to prepare and revisit what you study, and ask the teacher what is appropriate for your level. Read the part-time Alim study guide for further planning considerations.

Meet Your Alim Teacher: Adeel Ahmad

Adeel Ahmad’s academy-provided background includes:

  • MPhil in Islamic Studies from GIFT University, Gujranwala.
  • Eight-year Dars-e-Nizami studies at Idaratul Mustafa, Gujranwala.
  • Hifz and Tajweed background/qualifications through Tanzim ul Madaris.
  • Five years of teaching experience, as stated by the academy in November 2026.

Discuss your learning goals and previous study with him during the trial. His university and Dars-e-Nizami qualifications describe his background; they are separate from the academy certificate awarded to students on this course.

For questions about credential checks, see how Quranly Hub verifies tutors.

What Happens in the Alim Trial Class?

The trial helps the teacher understand your background and discuss an appropriate starting point. The discussion covers:

  1. Your general educational qualifications and studies.
  2. Your existing Islamic knowledge.
  3. Whether you can read the Quran and your reading experience.
  4. Previous Islamic Studies learning, including what and where you studied.

Teaching hours and per-class costs are calculated from the stated monthly packages. They describe scheduled teaching time, not independent study or a guaranteed learning result.

How to Compare the Plans

The sixteen-class plan provides eight additional classes and six additional teaching hours for USD 20 more per month. Choose the plan that fits both your availability and the learning pace discussed with the teacher.

The eight-class plan is described as two classes weekly, with eight classes as the monthly package entitlement. Agree the actual lesson dates and billing arrangements before payment.

Fees for Learners in Other Countries

The package prices above are in USD. If you need an estimate in GBP, CAD, AUD, AED, PKR or another local currency, use a dated exchange rate and confirm the actual billing currency and payable amount with the academy. Exchange-rate estimates and payment-provider charges can differ.

These are monthly tuition packages. The overall cost depends on your actual paid study duration and chosen plan. Confirm any book costs, additional charges and applicable payment terms before enrolling.

For more detail, see the Alim course fees guide, pricing page and enrollment terms.

Academy-Issued Alim Course Certificate

Quranly Hub issues its own academy certificate. This certificate is not government-registered. It is separate from the teacher’s academic qualifications and should not be understood as a government-registered degree or an automatic authorization to issue religious rulings.

If you need a qualification for employment, further academic study or another formal purpose, check that organisation’s requirements before enrolling. Ask the academy about the exact certificate title and course-completion requirements so that you can judge whether the programme fits your goal.

Online Availability: Pakistan and Other Countries

The Alim course is taught online in Urdu for learners worldwide, including Pakistan. Learners in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE and other countries can discuss their local time zone and preferred study times with the academy. Worldwide online availability does not mean every requested time slot is available.

The Aalimah course is not offered in Pakistan. If you are enquiring about Aalimah study from another country, ask the academy about availability and the relevant course details separately.

Read the online Alim guide for Pakistan for the Pakistan-specific study context. This is an online course; this page does not describe a physical branch in your city.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an Urdu or English Alim course?

Teaching is in Urdu. The webpage is in English, but explanations in the Alim lessons are given in Urdu. Reading Arabic study texts is separate from the language used to explain them.

How long is an Alim course at Quranly Hub?

The programme is planned for two years and four semesters. Actual completion can take longer according to your starting knowledge, ability and class frequency. An optional additional year of advanced study can be discussed separately.

Do both monthly plans guarantee completion in two years?

No fixed completion guarantee applies to both plans. Eight and sixteen monthly classes provide different teaching hours. Discuss the likely pace for your starting level and study availability with the teacher.

Can I join if I have already studied Islamic subjects?

Tell the teacher which texts and subjects you studied and where you studied them. Previous learning is discussed during the trial; do not assume a particular certificate automatically establishes your starting level.

Does the course include full Dars-e-Nizami certification?

The programme described here has four study pillars and a planned two-year structure. Quranly Hub issues an academy certificate that is not government-registered. The teacher’s own eight-year Dars-e-Nizami background is a separate qualification.

Is the Alim course free?

The course has paid monthly tuition: USD 80 for eight classes or USD 100 for sixteen classes. Ask the academy about current trial terms; a trial enquiry should not be confused with free tuition for the whole programme.

What should I confirm about books and assessments before enrolling?

Ask for the assigned book titles and editions, how progress will be reviewed, and the requirements for course completion and the certificate before enrolling. The published list identifies the confirmed materials; your individual study arrangements should be discussed with the academy.

Can I take the Aalimah course from Pakistan?

No. The Aalimah course is not offered in Pakistan. The Alim course described on this page is taught online in Urdu and is available to learners in Pakistan.
